Welcome to St. John's, West Wickham.

Welcome to St. John's. We are one of three Anglican Churches in West Wickham. The Parish encompasses the farms on either side of Layhams Rd, the whole of Coney Hall and the southern portion of West Wickham.

We have a vision to see our community reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ that many may receive healing and forgiveness and experience God's love in a new and dynamic way.

We also seek to serve our community through the ministry of The Beacon Centre in Croydon Rd. where you will find a warm welcome six days a week. Many of our small groups (Cell groups) meet around the Parish each week as do clubs for children and young people from the creche through to 18+

If you have questions about Christianity or would like to 'brush up on the basics' or just want to know what makes St. John's the place it is, come on the next Alpha course or come along one Sunday at 10 a.m. to a morning service. You will be very welcome!

We are delighted to share with you in the joy of your new baby. If you would like a service of Baptism or Thanksgiving, please contact the Rector.

If you would like to get married at St John's please get in touch with the Rector.

Funerals are usually arranged in the first instance with one of the local undertakers but if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the Rector or the honary curate.

Alpha Course

The Alpha course is ideal for those who wish to explore what Christianity is all about or want to 'brush up on their basics'. Several courses, meeting once a week, initially for about 6 weeks happen during the course of the year. Some courses take place during the evenings, others during the daytime. Invariably there is a meal together!
